Hi!

I have been thinking about writing for years and every time I let fear win. This time fear is not going to win.

So here I am. Blogging. I know what you’re thinking…another girl who wants to become “instafamous” from blogging but let me assure you that is not what I am here for. Truth is, I am a stay at home mom to my two beautiful babes and I need to be able to express myself somehow on days that I am going stir-crazy. Like today. I figured why not make it public. I know for me, relating to other moms makes me feel like I am not alone. It also reminds me that I am not a failure and we are all in this together. Being a mom…scratch that… being a parent is HARD. I haven’t had every job in the book but from my own personal experience and hearing it from other people, there is no doubt that it is thee HARDEST job in the book. I mean think about it, basically our job is to take care of other humans. Humans who have lives that depend on no one other than US! It is scary, fun, stressful, exciting and exhausting. It is also amazing and special. I mean, to my two kids, I am everything

So let me briefly introduce myself. I’m Alesha. I am 20-something years old and mama to Londyn (5) and Bo (5 months). I also am a wifey to my amazing husband. Seriously, I cannot say enough good things about him. Oh and I am a dog mom to Ruby. Our naughty Goldendoodle puppy.

So what exactly can you expect from this blog? No idea. My thoughts about life I guess. I don’t really know. I have no game plan. It could be me writing about my kids, parenting, what I like, what I dislike, etc. Who knows. Like I said, I’m just here to express myself. Through expressing myself, I am hoping that this becomes a place where real moms like me can relate and find comfort in all that they are doing. Nobody is perfect and I promise to keep it very real and raw on here. Pretending everything is perfect is too exhausting. Been there. Done that.
